I’m not typically one that rates folks on the internet but this company went above and beyond. Extremely professional, punctual, cost effective, and communicative. My job was a couple of monster oak trees. In fact, I had hired first another company who came to the job and realized they were in over their heads. Arthur, I’ve been told by other tree professionals is one of the best in the business. They proved it with their actions. There were a lot of moving parts to this job and some unique requests and they were able to meet the timeline and cost effectively handle a bunch of items we stacked on, like running a trench for an electrical conduit and linking into our sprinkler system. In short, for us they were the best crew I have hired for project like this and this is my 5th home. Lots of contractors over the years, Thompson Tree is the best I’ve had and I would recommend them to anyone.

Art showed up and took a look at my back yard to identify trees that were dangerous or had the potential to become dangerous, gave us a quote that was extremely fair and got started when he said he would. Art and his crew took down 14 pines and oaks in total in my back yard the week prior and during the lead up and arrival of Hurricane Florence. Art was actually up in the trees limbing them and topping and dropping trees until the winds became too much. This was a huge project that they got done and did what they said they would get done. They hauled trees and brush out and ground down stumps and finished on the day they said they would. They also took care of limbs that were hanging and would pose an issue during the next storm. He went above and beyond and cut and moved trees one of my family memebers wanted to keep to make a bar and furniture out of to the front of the house so we could have our fence installed the next few days. They were very professional and great to be around. You had a question he would take the time to answer. I would and will highly recommended this company to anyone that ask or is looking. Great company great crew great job guys he never once pressured us into anything extra or signing a contract until we were ready. The skill level still amazes me! Looking forward to using y’all again for trees and yard work and landscaping once we figure out what we are going to do with our amazing new open back yard. Call these guys you won’t regret it!

I called Thompson's Tree Climbers to address several LARGE pine trees that were close to my house and needed to be removed before more storm damage occurred, and/or continued damage to my lawn due to pine cones and lots of pine needles. Arthur was able to come out later that day to provide an estimate and schedule my tree removal. They came out on time and got started quickly last Saturday. Safety was an important factor throughout the entire process. The guy I spoke to on the phone was Arthur, he was also the one who came out and gave me a quote, and was the one climbing the trees and leading the work group, so I think it’s a smaller company/business that he runs all aspects of, which is nice to see, and nice to support smaller local businesses. They were in and out in only a couple hours, were very efficient and safe in everything they did. I will be using them again in the near future for an oak tree in my yard that’s got some kind of disease or issue going on with it as well.
